EatRate is a multi-sided food platform currently operating in Cameroon: consumers discover and order food, restaurants and chefs run their operations, farmers and suppliers prove where food comes from, and delivery companies fulfil it — all inside one verified, reviewable ecosystem. Payments are processed in Central African CFA francs (XAF).
For customers
Discover dishes, order, follow delivery in real time, leave verified reviews on dishes and restaurants separately, and earn Eatrate Rewards across participating businesses.
For restaurants
Operate menus, orders, staff, point-of-sale, inventory, sourcing, customer relationships and rewards from one dashboard, with transparent, disclosed order commission and optional subscription tools.
For farmers and suppliers
List verified products with batch-level provenance, connect with professional restaurant buyers, and fulfil procurement without being forced to pay just to be visible.
For logistics
Delivery companies and riders receive dispatch offers, accept or decline jobs, and track fulfilment with a per-delivery dispatch fee that is only charged on completed jobs.
One identity, connected journeys
Every participant has a dedicated dashboard scoped to their role, while Eatrate Rewards gives customers one network account — not a pile of disconnected restaurant loyalty cards. Reviews are tied to verified orders where possible, and food provenance (farm, batch, production cycle) can be traced from a dish back to its source.
How EatRate makes money
EatRate never charges customers merely for posting, reviewing, following or browsing. Revenue comes from a disclosed order commission and optional subscriptions for restaurants, an optional customer service fee and delivery fee shown before checkout, a per-completed-delivery dispatch fee for logistics companies, and optional premium tools for farms, suppliers, chefs and Food Explorers.
